bathrooms, 1 hectare of extensive gardens with views, a large pool

and plenty of space inside and out, there is room enough for

everyone to find their own niche. Toulouse city and the airport are

within easy reach of this lovely holiday home from where you can

explore this part of Gascony and its Bastide villages or just take

advantage of some South of France sunshine and relax poolside. The

Owner has in the past held small Wedding Receptions on the terrace.

Gascony, South West of France near Toulouse This holiday home is

set over 2 floors and has 6 bedrooms – the buildings surround an

internal courtyard wtih a flowing brook which has a cooling effect.

Character has been retained by incorporating original edifices,

such as the stables and hayloft, by converting them into modern

living spaces – the kitchen and covered terrace. From the front

door you are led into the delightful open plan living/dining room

which has a high beamed ceiling and views to the garden and pool.

Traditional stone walls, tiled floors and an open fire place

combined with modern underfloor heating make it a welcoming space.

At one end there are comfortable furnishings – two sofas and 2

armchairs and at the other a table to seat 12/14. The room is

enhanced with pictures, lamps and objets d’arts. The open hallway

leads to the large, well equipped family kitchen the centrepiece of

which is a huge island with several bar stools – perfect for

breakfasting. Doors from the kitchen take you outside. From the

kitchen you connect to a second full height living room with

another open fire. The large exterior terrace can be accessed from

both rooms by French windows, where there is covered terrace with

dining table overlooking the garden and pool and salon furniture by

the rose pergola. A separate children’s room, where there is TV

with Freeview satellite, DVD, books and computer games, is a great

asset! Another option for that alfresco meal is the sheltered

courtyard with salon furniture, dining table and summer kitchen.

or 4 children We have not yet visited this property. This South

West France holiday home is approached via a meandering tree-lined

driveway, a quiet location, but not isolated as it is only 3km from

the nearest village. The property has extensive, well maintained

gardens with long reaching views across the rolling Gascony

countryside and fields of sunflowers – a lovely rural retreat.

Close to the house, in an unusual circular landscaped setting, is

the rectangular 16m x 6m x 1m-4m pool which is alarmed and has a

diving platform at the deep end. Surrounded by nature you almost

feel part of the environment. The pool has curved steps along one

long side, overlooking the wide valley of the river Arrats. The

pool terrace is part stone and part decking and has sun loungers.

For outside dining at the house there is a large covered terrace,

an open terrace with a rose covered pergola with salon furniture

and a courtyard with more salon furniture, dining table and Summer

Kitchen. Gas BBQ Outdoor games including – trampoline (without

safety net), swings, table tennis, table football, bikes, boules

set and tennis rackets (courts 1km away). Parking for several cars
