German Bay Lodge

German Bay Lodge is the only Bed & Breakfast in Gonubie that has direct access to the sea. The rest have a road between them and the water.

Relax on the patio overlooking the pool and while enjoying the view. We have a flood light which lights up the sea at night.

All our rooms have magnificent sea-views and are well appointed with en-suite bathrooms.

Our rooms all have queen size beds, DSTV and
facilities to make Tea & Coffee.

A full English breakfast is served in the dining-room or on the terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean (weather permitting). Packed lunches are available on request. Gonubie has a holiday atmosphere. We are opposite the Gonubie Golf Course. The Gonubie Mouth Bird Sanctuary is close by. We have secure on-site parking. The East London airport is only 35 minutes away. Restaurants are situated in the King Mall less than 3 kms away or at the large Hemmingways Mall which is only 10kms away.
DirectionsTravelling on the N2, take the 1054 intersection off-ramp to Gonubie. Travel about
3kms towards Gonubie. At the 1st traffic light, in Gonubie, turn right down Gullsway,
pass the Gonubie High School and its speed bumps (4). After the 5th speed bump, take
the right-hand fork in the road. German Bay Lodge is on your immediate right.
